📍London — March from Church Street (W2 1DR near Church street market) to Marble Arch
🕐1:00pm–5:00pm
📅20 December
On 20 December, we will take to the streets of London to mark the seventh anniversary of the Sudanese Revolution — a revolution born from bread riots, workers’ strikes, and mass defiance against dictatorship, exploitation, and military rule.
This date is not symbolic alone. It’s a reminder that the Sudanese people rose up from below, organising through trade unions, neighbourhood resistance committees, women’s organisations, and youth movements, and challenged a system built on repression and plunder. Today, that same system wages a devastating war on the people — a counter-revolution fought with guns, militias, and foreign backing.
This march is about revolution and resistance. We will march to stand in solidarity with the people of Sudan who facing murder, starvation, destruction and displacement by Sudan’s two principal militias – Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) – and to expose the imperialist powers that are fuelling and profiting from this war.
The struggle in Sudan is not isolated. It’s part of a wider popular struggle against war, militarisation, imperialism, racism, and justice.
Our solidarity must be international, organised, and unapologetic.
We march to say:
- No to war, militias (SAF & RSF), and authoritarian rule
- No to imperialist intervention and arms profiteering
- Yes to popular struggle, self-determination, and liberation
- Yes to international solidarity rooted in working-class power
Bring your banners, your voices, and your solidarity. March with us to honour those who resist, to expose those who profit from war, and to strengthen the bonds between struggles across borders.
