Revolutionary Egypt: the view from the workplaces

Thursday 12 May, 7pm

NUJ Head Office, Headland House, Gray’s Inn Road, London

Come and hear first reports from the delegation of RMT, PCS, NUJ, UCU, NUT and CWU members who took part in a trade union solidarity delegation to Cairo on May Day. We met activists from independent unions on the railways, Cairo public transport authority, health workers, civil servants and many others, and heard their inspiring struggles for trade union rights and social justice.

It will be a fascinating opportunity to hear at first hand the way the revolutionary process is unfolding, to learn about the inspiring example of the new unions and to debate how we can deliver solidarity.
