MENA Solidarity Network is supported by a growing network of trade unions, union branches, and trades councils committed to building international solidarity with struggles for workers’ rights, social justice, and democratic freedoms across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond.

The following national unions are affiliated to MENA Solidarity Network:

  • Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS)
  • University and College Union (UCU)
  • National Education Union (NEU)
  • Equity
  • United Tech & Allied Workers (UTAW), part of the Communication Workers’ Union (CWU)

Alongside these national unions, many trade union branches and trades councils across Britain are affiliated to MENA Solidarity Network and actively support our campaigns.

Our affiliates play a vital role in building international working-class solidarity, strengthening links between workers’ movements across borders, amplifying the voices of those on the front lines of struggle, and supporting collective action within the trade union movement.
