Solidarity Statement

The Egyptian Independent Union Federation declares its solidarity with workers who are facing dismissal and victimisation as a result of their efforts to found independent unions in their workplaces. The Federation will do everything in its power to defend the rights of workers in the petroleum industry and in particular the right to work and the right to organise independent unions.

This solidarity is central to the work of the Federation and reflects the principles and goals on which it was founded.
