Join MENA Solidarity to explore the urgent lessons from Sudan’s revolutionary movements. Our new pamphlet highlights the experiences of those fighting for freedom, justice, and radical change. It examines the role of grassroots organising, resistance committees, mass protests, strikes, and popular movements that have shaped Sudan’s past and recent revolutionary process—and the brutal counter-revolution they continue to resist, led by Sudan’s two main militias: the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
We will also address a critical question: How can we build meaningful international solidarity with these struggles? Understanding the dynamics of Sudan’s revolutionary movements and the challenges they face is essential for fostering effective global support.
This session is part of Marxism 2025, a four-day festival dedicated to socialist ideas, featuring a rich program of debates, meetings, live music, cultural events, film screenings, and much more.
Don’t miss this vital discussion on resistance, revolution, and counter-revolution in Sudan, grounded in frontline research and analysis.
Be there to learn, discuss, and stand in solidarity with Sudan’s revolutionary struggle. We look forward to seeing you there!
