UPDATED: Join the global movement to end the war in Sudan: International protests call for peace and justice

Sudanese organisations across the world are uniting to organise demonstrations demanding an immediate end to the war in Sudan. MENA Solidarity has been informed that the following demonstrations will be taking place on the following dates and locations:

  • (05 May) Ottawa, Calgary, Oslo
  • (06 May) Cardiff, Zürich, Brussels (joint protest), New Jersey, New York, Paris
  • (07 May) London
  • (09 May) London
  • (13 May) Sacramento

The demands of the protests include:

  • An immediate end to the war
  • Safe corridors for patients and the injured
  • Provision of water, food, and medicine to affected people
  • Accountability for war parties and remnants of the old regime for their crimes
  • Handover of wanted criminals to the International Criminal Court
  • Formation of an immediate, democratically elected civilian government
  • Sudanese refugees welcome – open the borders
  • No military or diplomatic support to the warmongers
  • Solidarity with the Sudanese Revolution

Join the movement to end the war and promote peace and stability in Sudan.
