The bulletin features the latest news on the repression of trade unionists following the uprising last year, and shows how the UK government is continuing to sell arms to the Bahraini government. It also reveals how a member of ‘workfare’ company A4e is profiting from selling tear gas to the Bahraini, Egyptian and Israeli governments.
The bulletin includes a model motion for trade union branches and a list of action points.
Despite the repression the movement in Bahrain is still fighting. On Friday 9th March 2012 around 350,000 people protested for democracy and civil liberties. You can watch a video of the protests here:
