انا اسمي آنا اوينز وانا سكرتيرة فرع نقابة موظفي الخدمات العامة والتجارية في قسم الضرائب والجمارك. أريد أن أبعث تحيات التضامن إلى النقبات المستقلة في مصر. نحن 3 ميليون عامل في بريطانيا نشارك بالإضراب دفاعاً أن نظام المعاش والخدمات العامة. لدينا حكومة التي تسعي بخصخصة الخدمات العامة من أجل نقل ثروتنا إلى الأغنياء وتفرض ثمن الأزمة على الطبقة العاملة. قد رأينا الثورة المصرية وهي إلهام لنا ونتمنى نبدأ نفس النوع من النضال هنا لاسقاط كاميرون مثل اسقط الشعب المصري مبارك. نرسل تحيات التضامن ونريد أن نشارك بنضال أممي لإسقاط النظام الرأسمالي.

My name is Anna Owens, and I am the branch secretary of PCS Revenue and Customs. I want to give solidarity to the Egyptian unions today, because we are 3 million British workers out on strike today to defend our pensions but we are also out to defend our public services. We have a government which is rampantly prepared to privatise our public services in order to make the rich richer and to make working class people pay for the crisis. We have seen and been inspired the Egyptian revolution this year, and we hopefully will be able to launch the same sort of fightback in this country, whereby we get rid of Cameron the way you got rid of Mubarak. We send solidarity greetings to you, because we want to join in an international fightback to bring capitalism down
