Egypt: Cairo bus workers defy military attempts to break their strike

Despite ongoing attempts by the military to break their strike, bus workers in Cairo rejected a proposed deal on Monday 26 March. The workers are demanding a lump sum on retirement equivalent to 100 months pay, and for the bus service to be taken over the Ministry of Transport.
