Three weeks ago, coordinated protests in London and Washington, D.C. targeted the Israeli, Egyptian, and Jordanian embassies, challenging Arab regimes complicit in Gaza’s genocide, war crimes, and enforced starvation. MENA Solidarity spoke to Ibrahim, a young UK-based Palestinian who organised and joined the London actions on July 23–24, while activists in Washington rallied in parallel.
Following last year’s in-depth conversation with New York-based Hudson Mohawk Magazine Radio on the war in Sudan, a second interview was held with Khalid Sidahmed of the MENA Solidarity Editorial Board. At the 2025 Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival, MENA Solidarity supported Greek dockworkers’ actions against military shipments to Israel, aligning with international worker-led resistance. On July 4, 2025, MENA Solidarity launched “Sudan’s Revolutionary and Popular Movements: A Research Report” at the Marxism Festival 2025, attracting over 110 attendees. The session featured analyses by Rania Obead, Khalid Sidahmed, and Muzan Alneel on the dynamics of Sudan’s revolution, its challenges, and the importance of international solidarity in the struggle for freedom, peace, and justice.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, a staggering 500,000 angry people flooded the streets of London, united in a passionate demand to stop the ongoing genocide in Palestine and seek justice for the Palestinian people.
